Drawing on the experience of generations of rich heritage craftsmanship, Cedar Ridge Designs has designed and manufactured custom cabinetry and commercial millwork since 2004.
We provide custom cabinetry to homeowners, developers and general contractors, creating exceptional living and working spaces. Located near Maxville, Ontario, we serve all eastern Ontario communities, including the Ottawa, Cornwall, Alexandria, Hawkesbury, Casselman and Brockville areas.
At Cedar Ridge Designs, we think locally, buy locally, and build locally. We’re from here, and we source all of our building materials from here, including premium hardwood. We combine traditional craftsmanship with modern technology to deliver superior woodworking projects and premium end-to-end service, and we do it all here in eastern Ontario.

Our Team
Colin and his wife Denise founded Cedar Ridge in 2004. Colin is President and General Manager of Cedar Ridge and is hands-on in sales and estimating. He has 25 years’ experience in the woodworking and cabinet making industry.
Sam joined Cedar Ridge in 2011. His previous background includes architectural technology, and education and field experience in the residential sector. He enjoys the challenges and fast-paced environment that custom cabinetry and millwork offers, similar to the architectural service field.
Marjorie joined Cedar Ridge as Administrator in 2011. With 35 years of administrative experience, she is responsible for all bookkeeping functions, human resources, and provides support to the sales and production team.
Robert joined Cedar Ridge in 2006. Robert is a Red Seal Certified Cabinetmaker. He completed his apprenticeship with Cedar Ridge through Conestoga College, which is now the largest woodworking training centre in North America.
Julinda has been working in residential Interior Design for 15 years. She specializes in residential kitchen/bathroom (and other millwork) design. Her main focus is to offer her clientele a unique, professional, and personalized experience, all while creating the perfect balance between beauty and functionality. During her career she has worked closely with individual clients as well as builders, architects and other designers. Whether a single kitchen reno or a complete new custom build, she is able to oversee her projects from brief to completion.
Julinda can also provide further interior design services (space layout, furniture layout, furniture and lighting selection/sourcing, finishes and decor, etc.). Julinda loves that her career affords her the ability to continuously learn and is always excited to apply new knowledge to her work.

Since 2021, Jill has been an integral part of our millwork and cabinetry shop. With over 20 years of experience in architectural millwork, design, and project management, she brings exceptional knowledge and leadership to every project.
Her background in architecture and woodworking, paired with her problem-solving skills and eye for detail, ensures each project is managed with precision from concept to completion.
Carly joined Cedar Ridge Designs in November 2023, bringing her valuable expertise to our team as Office Administrator. With a background in office management, Carly efficiently handles daily operations, ensuring smooth administrative processes and providing essential support to both our team and clients.
Caitlin, who joined us in December 2023, is a skilled Designer and Project Manager with over 10 years of expertise in bespoke millwork, material application, and creating elevated interiors while meticulously managing projects from client guidance to completion.
AJ is an accomplished manufacturing executive with extensive experience in millwork production and operations management. Prior to joining Cedar Ridge Designs, he held leadership roles overseeing process optimization, quality assurance, and large-scale fabrication projects. As Director of Manufacturing, AJ applies a strategic and disciplined approach to ensure operational excellence, product integrity, and continuous improvement across all manufacturing initiatives.
