What You’ll Do

  • Assist the Lead Designer with drafting, revisions, and design development for residential projects in our Ottawa Office

We are currently seeking a skilled Millwork Custom Fabricator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with a variety of materials and techniques to create custom millwork pieces for diverse projects. From intricate cabinetry to detailed molding, the Millwork Custom Fabricator will play a key role in bringing our clients’ visions to life.

Responsibilities:

– Interpret architectural drawings and design specifications to fabricate custom millwork pieces according to client requirements.

Scope of the position:

Reporting to the General Manager, this position is responsible for the design, estimation, sales and project follow-through on residential and commercial contracts. Working with other team members and Cedar Ridge processes, the position will appeal to someone who is looking for a situation that requires a talent for detail and organization combined with excellent people skills and creativity.

SPRAY FINISHER REQUIRED

Cedar Ridge Designs, a custom cabinet/millwork manufacturer located in Maxville, Ontario, has a position available for an enthusiastic and experienced Finisher for spray painting and staining cabinets.

Permanent, full-time. 2 years or more millwork spray booth experience preferred. Preference will be given to those applicants with the requested experience, however, we are also willing to train an individual who shows spray finishing aptitude.

Hourly wage is negotiable and will be based on experience and qualifications.

Essential requirements:

– Prepare paint booth equipment

– Mix paint and components and match colors

– Use spray guns to apply primer, paint, lacquer or other coatings to cabinetry

– Perform visual inspections to ensure quality standards and specifications are met
